I have misplaced a one-of-a-kind building kit in Pokopia and have been looking for it across all my environments for two hours. I love this game so much, but man, it needs a way to search for items.

I’m really happy retailers are providing that overseas! I hope there are more options like that going forward!

I can’t sleep on planes either, which makes going to Japan a rough transition. I was up for about 38 of the prior 42 hours before crashing at 10pm in my bed last night 😅

I haven’t gotten 8 hours of sleep in a single night since the first week of March, but after GDC and a redeye flight back, I slept for 10 hours last night. Just in time to have to shovel a blizzard 😬

If you can go to GameStop and buy Game Informer, it stands to reason that I could go to WingStop and buy

A photo of Brian in front of a GDCA backdrop A photo of several members of games media at a dinner The GDC sign in the background with Brian’s badge in the foreground A games industry mixer

Changed my flight home from SF from tomorrow morning to a redeye tonight to beat the Minnesota blizzard that’s hitting tomorrow, so I guess this is goodbye, GDC! What a great time. I love this industry and the people in it so much.

Once again, nobody breaks down indies like Jill. A true gem in our industry.

Also, check out At Fate’s End. It seems like it could be truly special.

‘It Probably Went Too Far’ Say Donkey Kong Bananza’s Creators On The Elephant Transformation’s Destructive Power We sit down with Donkey Kong Bananza's producer and programmer to discuss the trademark destruction of Nintendo's best game of 2025.

I spent part of yesterday afternoon with key members of Donkey Kong Bananza’s development team. We talked how they accomplished the level of destructibility that they did, how it impacted level design, and the transformation they think may have gone “too far.” gameinformer.com/interview/20...

Minnesotans deserve restitution from ICE's terror campaign.

The ICE surge cost Minneapolis $200 million in just one month. That’s before overtime, charter flights, and detention contracts.

Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to subsidize their own trauma.

I ran into Phil Spencer yesterday. Asked him what he’s doing with all his newfound spare time and he said, “A lot of snowboarding.”
