Despite my SEX, you decide to GENDER me otherwise. So you seem to have an awareness that sex and gender aren't the same thing.

Yet, when someone affirms this for themselves and communicates that with the world, you're the first to forget, ignore, and play dumb.

As a kid, I was often misgendered "GIRL!"

As an adult, I'm told I'm not a real MAN

And y'all out here trying to say you don't understand pronouns?

Everything was captured in camera, no post effects, and I printed the image onto transfer film, which was then transferred onto archive paper

My evening ritual includes: making notes of next steps (in a painting or project) for tomorrow and tacking them next to the painting. Writing any notes of key learnings, or key challenges from the day. Then I take my "upstairs kit" to the lounge and do some relaxed sketching of whatever I want 😊

My morning ritual includes: making my coffee, heading downstairs to my studio, opening the doors and windows, putting on a fresh playlist, and sitting at my drawing table. Then I'll speak some words of gratitude while sketching something simple like gestures or shapes.
