Do you see? 7-11 CLERK: Yes, I see! ME: For each turn of the outer wheel, one thousandth a turn of the inner wheel. And within the inner wheel a point of perfect darkness 7-11 CLERK: Right, growing, devouring. The death of all light ME: Wanes the light - right - wanes the light and waxes the solar eye. Wanes the day of flesh and blood and waxes the night of crawling beasts. Chewing and swallowing. The name of the night to come is khoshek ha-gibbor 7-11 CLERK: Is that hot dog a quarter pound big bite or a spicy bite. They're priced different ME: Which one is cheaper

A silly comic based on a tumblr post. I kind of miss making print format stuff, so it was nice to stretch those muscles again.

I reach for a memory and hit a landmine in my head where they’ve messed with my brain and must have altered the memory instead of redacting it. Some that make Adam look abusive or toxic. At least, that’s what I think it is because it doesn’t jive with other memories. After a while I can’t tell which is real. Man 2: I don’t think he was abusive, but you could make an argument that if you’re preemptively training your student to withstand the worst non-lethal punishment SolCorp has to offer, you should reexamine your fucking teaching style. Man 1: That's fair. The strangest thing is when Alex Reads something from me that I don’t remember and it’s not like there’s this puzzle piece to fit into the gaps I know I have. It’s more like I’ve found a piece that I had no idea was missing and I’ve forgotten I was doing a puzzle in the first place. Man 2: Should have fought your way out like I did. And they should have never given you a psychometrist. That was stupid of them. Man 1: I had already done enough to earn my Icarus number before that.

A comic with my characters, Simmo and Johnny. Simmo just got up and walked into the kitchen to find Johnny there holding a piece of bread and a butter knife. Johnny slept over at Simmo's penthouse, I guess... just normal guy things. Simmo: ............ What are you doing. Johnny: I'm making breakfast for us. I was surprised your kitchen is so huge but you don't have anything in the cupboards! Unfortunately, Simmo did not hear or process the second thing Johnny said because the first thing shocked him too much. Simmo stands silent for 5 minutes. Simmo: You got up for this? Johnny: I was hungry. Simmo: Why didn't you say anything? I could've ordered delivery? Johnny: It's no big deal.

As Johnny finishes cooking, Simmo sits at the kitchen bar counter. Simmo, thinking: Does he do this for everyone? MAKING BREAKFAST? I've never done that in my life... Is this normal?? I can't look at him, I don't know what my face is like right now... Johnny sets Simmo's plate down. Johnny: Done. Simmo looks at the plate. On it is a piece of toast smeared with red goo. Johnny: I couldn't find jam so I just put ketchup. Is that ok? Also there was mould on the bread but I picked it off. Simmo stares at the toast intensely. Simmo: It's perfect. Thank you for the food. He takes a huge bite and eats the toast with relish. Simmo: Tastes incredible. Johnny: Really? Do you want another slice? Johnny waves another piece of bread. Simmo crunches through more toast. Simmo: Yes.
