Gentile Americans, please know this. The far-right government in Israel doesn’t give one single shit about American Jews, but they fucking love evangelical Christians.

I'm sorry ma'am, but your son perished on Kharg Island in a valiant effort to create Wii Bowling meme videos for the White House X account. In the face of danger, he was not cringe; he was based to his last breath. Please have this commemorative Epic Fury challenge coin. Yes that's Punisher, ma'am

Naftali Bennett refused to call Tree Of Life a synagogue because it's not an Ortho congregation.

following a healthy dose of lawsky on here is good for blocking many accounts of questionable faith. they love to argue in their free time, such as it may be, even though they also do it for a living, and i hear it's a soul-crushing job. i don't understand it but i will take the free blocks.

if you mean terminology, "not true bill", also called "no bill", is when a grand jury declines to indict. it's rare for federal prosecutors because they generally only pursue prosecutions they are sure they can prove in court. she's implying that lets criminals slip through the cracks.

yeah i often find myself unable to get a word in edgewise because jumping in the gap doesn't come naturally to me but 1) it's a skill i had to learn for when it's important, and in some ways overlearned; and 2) if i don't do it someone else will. the someone else not doing it is the weird part.

one of the things i had to get used to when listening to japanese was how there are sometimes big pauses at the end of a sentence before adding someone's name, or something like that, and it just feels unnatural for the other person to not already be responding in that gap.

Understanding Long COVID, Supporting Patients, Advancing SolutionsWhat Is Long COVID? Long COVID is a serious chronic disease that can affect multiple body systems and significantly disrupt daily life. Long COVID affects 5–7 % of U.S. adults—roughly 18 million people, according to the CDC. Long COVID remains an ongoing public health challenge requiring continued research, clinical innovation, and coordinated response.

RFK Jr and HHS have launched a new website dedicated to Long COVID.

Please remain skeptical: They will offer more junk science than real solutions, and use this as another opportunity to spread misinformation about vaccines.

If you think of your opposition as non-playable characters, you fail to consider that they too are engaged in strategic decision making, and therefore fail to look down the game tree to highly forseeable steps like "mining the Strait of Hormuz"

I genuinely, sincerely think that one of the most significant problems facing this country right now is that people making decisions about our nation's future view others as "non-playable characters", and clips like this, or splicing footage of attacks with video games, do little to change that

The world is so evil and ignorant right now and I don’t think it’s too much to ask that it stop being that way.

Joe Rogan Says Trump’s Supporters Feel ‘Betrayed’ by Iran War

This is true, but Rogan is still very much a Trump guy. He spent 5-10 minutes on Iran in his last few pods, in which he also promoted the SAVE act, said Minneapolis ICE resisters are paid protesters, and suggested there’s no difference between a king and a president www.nytimes.com/2026/03/11/u...

The true cost of war is so much more than a billion dollars a day. It's paid for in the blood and sacrifices of our troops—who still don't know what the mission is, when it will end or whether their wounds are justified.

We need to put this Administration under oath in a public hearing. Now.

i noticed kelly and krish have a bit of a colleague thing going on. they weren’t targeting each other in the debate as much as they were going after stratton, each from their own viewpoints. age is also a factor for kelly; she is only 12 years younger than durbin. two terms.

yeah i saw that reporting. i haven't seen any ads, though, until yesterday when we got a mailer (Progressive Values Illinois, a MAGA one). i just watched the debate and read up on their positions and histories as best i could. gaza is the big sticking point. stratton is weak at best on that issue.

reddit user posts: Cool costume. Is the make up for the costume or just something you normally wear? I don't mean that offensively! I notice heavy make up seems to be a thing these days.

Kelly is the beneficiary of digital ads paid for by The Impact Fund, a super PAC that is spending $1 million on the race this year, according to Federal Election Commission records, including $500,000 in support of Kelly, $250,000 supporting Krishnamoorthi and $250,000 in anti-Stratton ads. The Impact Fund is a political arm of Indian American Impact.

Since August, The Impact Fund has received nearly $1 million in donations — with eight out of the PAC’s 13 individual donors contributing to Krishnamoorthi. Those crossover donors have contributed nearly $700,000 to the PAC since August 2025 and more than $150,000 to Krishnamoorthi throughout his career.

Another PAC, Progressive Values Illinois, is spending $303,000 on mailers to boost Kelly, and to oppose Stratton. Protect Progress, another super PAC that is part of the pro-crypto Fairshake group, is also spending $90,000 on ads to boost Kelly. Fairshake, a pro-crypto PAC funded primarily by Trump megadonors and business partners Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, has spent more than $5.5 million, running anti-Stratton ads. AdImpact, which tracks ads that are reserved by TV stations, has total spending for Fairshake at $8.2 million.

Stratton is backed by her longtime running mate Gov. JB Pritzker, who last summer signed legislation that aimed to establish state-level oversight of cryptocurrency platforms. She’s also been endorsed by Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a longtime industry critic who has also pushed for crypto regulations.

i never pay attention to ads on principle; i only watched the debate because i searched for it and found it and i've tried reading up on their histories as best i can and i came away from all that wanting kelly without ever having seen an ad. but we got a mailer today!

see, idc idc i watched the debate. it’s the primary and they all have flaws but none seems disastrous; stratton is the best speaker; kelly is the most impressive overall to me, and also only 12 years younger than durbin; raja is the most personable, but maybe tries too hard? idk change my mind.
