They’re the ones who bankroll the type of candidates who won’t say or do too much — which is on display in this article. And those candidates they fund are the same candidates who hire political consultants who don’t say or do too much.

Upper crust corporate, venture capitalist-type uber wealthy political donors to the Democratic Party do not benefit when voters understand the issues.

The same pollsters who peaked decades ago, consultants hired by people like Rahm Emanuel who are funded by political donors who do not benefit from voters understanding issues.

It’s impossible to poll voters about how they feel about USAID if the pollsters can’t even write the poll questions well to frame how international development leads to American safety and prosperity.

Dems can’t hold on to their failed flat-footed practice of not “swing[ing] at every pitch” and sitting back until an issue comes around that really matters (by whose definition btw?).

Also, because I fight every fight and die on all the hills: I’m declaring sports analogies in politics a red flag.

They’re stunted when it comes to messaging in 2025 and they’re part of the out-of-touch, watered down, self-serving Democratic Party that got us here in the first place.
