Molly wins! I saw that Inscryption had a free demo on steam, so I played it and immediately got hooked. Beat the demo & found that it was 1/3 the price on the switch so the switch is ever so slowly downloading now. ETA 5 hours lol, so probably won't get to play til after work tomorrow, but worth it!

All the talk of cosplay and costumes made me wish I still felt like I could pull off something like this. These days I feel more like I need a hermit costume. I could maybe pull off a Mira cosplay (but only when she wears the sleeping bag)

2. Let Jimm convince me to order *60 dollar* kpop demon hunter pants so that he can wear choo choo trains to the sing along
3. Buy a giant box of undelivered packages

I had things I was supposed to do this evening, but I can't remember what they were and I can't find my list, soooo..... reading it is!

Making Miss K homemade ketchup from the ridiculously large amount of tomatoes the tomato plants have produced this week. The whole house smells like ketchup. Thanks, I hate it. (I am the only one in the house who hates condiments, but it makes her happy, so this is the only complaint I will make.)

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

Miss K wanted to watch Austenland last night and so we did. I expected to craft my way through it and only half pay attention at most, but Jennifer Coolidge absolutely stole the show. I set the crafting aside halfway through. It was so much fun.

Reading in the library with something nice on the record player, followed by watching Alan Alda in something (haven't decided what yet) while knitting and then I'm going to take myself to bed early because it will be past my bedtime. That's the plan, anyway

I told her that watching Hamilton will be part of her schoolwork next year (it's not) and that she'd have to sit down and watch it with me in full (she always leaves after You'll be Back) and she told me I wasn't allowed to sing if she did have to watch it. 😆

Snagged some iron on xfer paper and some plain t-shirts - Miss K will get to design her own this weekend!

I'm already anticipating that tomorrow will be an energy drink kind of day just based on this one graphic.

Miss K's in the backyard trying to catch fireflies with zero success. She was too young when we lived in TN to remember, but she used to try and fail to catch them there too. This is the first time we've seen them since she was a toddler.

Dipdip is quite pleased with today's box. At least he waited til I got the craft supplies out before crawling in.

It's also going to get a coat of sealant when it's all said and done, which will add the gloss. If this wasn't my first time using acrylic paints like this I probably would have finished months ago - it's a process lol

20 coats of paint to cover up most of the neon pink and I have hooves, hair, horn, head, and scars left! Also pictured, tiny almost-was Sasha (the saddlebags were too big and I wasn't about to redo those) and a horse that needs a mark like Black Beauty on its nose. Next round of paint tomorrow!
