Ongelma ei oo pimeys, märkä tie eikä heijastimien puute, vaan autoilijoiden asenne, lähtien siitä että 1000+kg ohjuksen ajamista pidetään niin triviaalina että sitä voi tehdä puhelin kädessä ja siitä että suomalaiset pitää myöhästymistä ikävämpänä asiana kuin toisen ihmisen tappamista liikenteessä.

Timo R. Stewartin nimitys vuoden tieteentekijäksi on hyvinkin ansaittu. Tämähän siis ei ole niinkään tunnustus julkaisuista tai tutkimuksellisista läpilyönneistä -- niitäkin tietysti olisi -- vaan yhteiskunnallisesta vaikuttavuudesta tutkijana.

Stand Up koomikot keräävät rahaa Lääkärit ilman rajoja -järjestölle järjestämällä kolme stand up iltaa. Koomikot tekevät tämän ilmaiseksi. Ongelma on, että mediassa vallitsee täysi hiljaisuus tämän tapahtuman osalta, (pl. Lääkärilehti), joten boostataampa tätä vähän.
