original suggestion, for me it simply shows pure black instead of the same result(maybe hardware-dependent idk) on shader error at v1.5 but i think it's still a fun idea to implement

abandoned version as a interface to NinePatchRect in a SubViewport, but a shader node is probably more useful/extensible in the context of material maker
