I believe the mods when they say they haven't finished the technical work necessary to automatically inform users of what posts they're being suspended for.
I also believe that's not an acceptable flaw for this website in late 2025.

Agreed with this post and this thread.
Real people have to be told WHY they have been suspended. Otherwise, in the real world of rising fascism in which we live, users will wonder if accounts are being banned due to bad-faith right-wing pressure.

crazy how much this bugs me now that someone pointed it out. if i worked at the white house, i would find this ugly, but not as annoying as i do now. ignorance is really bliss bc they more you learn, the more you just walk around thinking "collar gap" and "kerning is off."

Student: Oh.
Me: You used ChatGPT to write this essay. Seriously, dude?!

heads up that even if you didn't ever actively intend to do so, a lot of people are accidentally heavily invested in AI right now and didn't notice that it happened, just from the mechanics of how these index funds work. if you'd rather bet on people it may be worth looking into moving things around

Re: Incorrect Diagnosis in Record Hi Thank you for reaching out. We have reviewed your visit documentation and can confirm that the notes in question were generated using our Al scribe system. It appears the Al tool assigned diagnosis code F32.9 (Depressive disorder, unspecified), while your visit notes and treatment plan reference lumbar disc herniation (back pain). Per compliance policy, certain Al-generated fields cannot be manually updated by clinic staff and require vendor correction. We have escalated this to our vendor support team and opened ticket # . We'll notify you once we receive confirmation or correction from the vendor.

the more connections you can make when you store things, the easier they are to retrieve. think of it like tying strings between things, and then being able to tug on and follow the strings back. ideally there are many strings you can tug on.
tie strings between new stuff and what you already know.
ok! spaced repetition is a tried-and-true method and there's a lot out there on that.
what it sounds like you are looking for is stuff on memory: how things get stored and how to retrieve them.
my version of this is if you can't do it yourself learn to enjoy sucking at it. i'm actively bad at video games but that's never stopped me from playing bloodborne a dozen times. just do things you suck at, it's more fun than you think
