In 2016, I culled my social media contacts based on moral conflicts. I did it again in 2024. I did it again in 2025 when Charlie Kirk was killed and called him a martyr like MLK. And here we are again in 2026 culling those who see nothing wrong with ICE killing Good and Pretti. #resist

Cheeto is about to go to war to take Greenland, he's blatantly violating the 4th Amendment, he's trying to cancel the midterm election and he's destroying The White House....all to avoid us seeing what's in those files. We know it's bad but it must be VERY bad. #bluecrew #resist #luckovich

The only other Luckovich political cartoon that brought tears to my eyes was his one of the Statue of Liberty with tears in her eyes after 9/11. This one is the second. The difference is that an outsider tried to take our freedoms in the 9/11 one. In this one our own country HAS taken our freedom. 🤬

2/2 I cried during Ed Gein. Frankenstein and Predator. All three showed that given a true human connection & compassion, even some of the worst villains are capable of doing the right thing.

The irony that this does not apply to the current administration is, sadly, not lost on me.

1/2 This weekend, by happenstance, I saw Predator: Badlands, the last ep of Monsters: Ed Gein, and Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. All three are incredible in their own right. What strikes me is how the creators were able to evoke such sympathy from the audience for the 'villian' of each story.

Democrats had a big night. Here are 5 takeaways from the 2025 elections Democrats had a good night, winning major races including governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey and a redistricting ballot measure in California, while also confronting the future of the party.

I woke up this morning with some hope for the first time since November 2024.
