Congratulations!
The goddess Athena herself would have coveted this stirrup-spout bottle in the shape of an owl. Created thousands of miles across the ocean from Greece, this bottle is typical of the work of Moche ceramicists of Peruβs North Coast. #MetMuseum πΊ 1/

Spent over an hour daydreaming before I got up today as a present to myself. Been doing this quite a lot lately and I can't recommend it enough, if your mind is in a quiet place.
I did write down on a slip of paper everything I did that day but then I lost it. It was a pretty standard day (scanning, reservations, sign ups, photocopying, printing, shelving, moving chairs around, computer help) and I remember using my softest voice in the morning.
Nice earring!
Yeah I think you have to pick a coloured line and go with it. I don't always start with the edges, depends on the puzzle. I fancy doing a puzzle but our table is still full of my husband's virtual pinball setup. Hopefully he'll start building a cabinet for it soon!
Kids are strange and wonderful. Mine has just opened a mailer from Clubcard and read me the entire thing with great enjoyment, probably of the level Tesco dreamed of when they produced it.
SO very much β¦ Friday mood. Pizza and margaritas incoming. πΉππΊ

It's in my calendar, I'm very excited to experience it.
It's 8 days since I heard someone pronounce synopsis SIGHnopsis and I'm still thinking about it.
I missed the chance to guess but at least I can go and look at the suggestions which might be fun.
That sounds heavenly.
Good day to you. I'm looking for short or very short stories or poems about justice or injustice. Any recommendations?
The Lottery, Barn Burning, The Ones Who Walk Away, Still I Rise, lots of Langston Hughes. What else?
That first coloured plate is gorgeous.
Running a small library mostly solo today. Hoping for a steady day without surprises!
Hope they bin it forever

Roll call, motherfuckers. It's costing me about six hundred quid to do this and people have started bailing on me again. The toys are going RIGHT out the pram if the gaff's half-empty this time and I ain't organising another one. Who's definitely coming? π€πͺ

Was listening to this today and decided it's one of the most relaxing songs I've ever heard. I was already relaxed at the time but I'm pretty sure if I hadn't been it would have made me feel relaxed.

Someone shared this game on Sunday and now I find I have to complete it every day. Been easy so far cos I've not had work. Probably won't manage to find the time for the rest of the week.
I have to say I really like it, Rod. It feels peaceful and secluded.
I think I'll just stick it on the shelf but never suggest it π¬
Daughter had a book swap at school. She came home with a book by _that_ children's author. I'm now in a slightly sticky position because I think it's important she reads what she is drawn to reading but I don't want to read a book by him. And if she likes it she might want me to buy his stuff, ugh.
Today, we're publishing Don't Steal This Book - a (mostly) empty book from almost 10,000 authors, protesting the theft of their work by AI companies.

And I get mildly annoyed when someone beats me to the checkout. This must be quite a few degrees worse.
Oh that's harsh
It's strange how little things can make an impact. I had a chat about what music I listened to in my teens with someone a few days ago and all I've wanted to do since is listen to music!
(Turns out we think we attended the same gig over 20yrs ago).
