As much as I wanted to get out with the crowds yesterday to express my disdain for the wannabe king, I've been struggling with my mental health and instead head up to the mountains to touch some rocks, and there was also some grass which was a bit of a trip

It's possible I'm stupid or just very sleep deprived from a week of travel, but what is "a JD" mean here? The only thing that springs to mind is a law degree, but that's not a written thing, so I have no idea what she's referencing.

Here, Ruscha uses gunpowder instead of graphite to create a subtle grayscale.
