A rock climber climbing a boulder the size of a large boulder on the edge of a grassy field
As much as I wanted to get out with the crowds yesterday to express my disdain for the wannabe king, I've been struggling with my mental health and instead head up to the mountains to touch some rocks, and there was also some grass which was a bit of a trip

Extreme close up of a small black Labrador puppy dog curiously poking his nose into the camera as the picture was snapped
A profile view of Draco the puppy sitting for a split moment with his tongue happily out as he looks off to the right at something out of the frame that caught his attention.
Oh I almost forgot I met a puppy yesterday in the Cool Beans courtyard down at the Square. Named Draco and absolutely swimming in his adult sized harness. He stopped just long enough to snap a pic

Bayport's motorcycle parked on the street with the High Museum building in the background along with bright green trees along the sidewalk. On the building is a giant poster banner promoting the latest exhibit called Data Verse
A piece of abstract minimalist art on the wall in the museum. The museum card provides this info for context: "James Siena American, born 1957 LEFT TO RIGHT: Acidic Non-Slice, 2005 Gouache on paper Aggregator, 2021 Ink and graphite on paper Celidor, 2019 Graphite on paper Relying on a combination of mathematical precision and artistic freedom, James Siena's "visual algorithms" create a psychedelic world of concentric lines and repeated patterns. His works, made using a process-heavy computational method of established rules, are biomorphic illusions that defy identification. Siena emerged in the radical art scene of New York in the 1980s, a pivotal time for the digital revolution. Although his artistic practice was informed by 1960s Minimalism, specifically Geometric Abstraction and optical illusions of Op Art, his work revitalized these earlier modes of artistic investigation."
Another piece of abstract art on the wall. But this one is colorful with circles, orbs, and color gradients. There is a museum card next to it but it is out of focus and not legible.
A black and white abstract minimalist art piece on the museum wall. The museum card provided the following info and context: Edward Ruscha American, born 1937 Walk. 1972 Gunpowder on paper Ed Ruscha first gained widespread recognition in 1960s Los Angeles. Like many of his peers, his work drew from popular culture, advertising, and consumerism. Though he adopted the techniques and illustrations of commercial culture, his compositions, in their simplicity and clarity, mirror a Minimalist focus on the essential. Here, Ruscha uses gunpowder instead of graphite to create a subtle grayscale. He often incorporates typographic elements in his work: the word walk seemingly floats away into the gray plane and resembles skywriting.
Among other things I got a chance to check out and visit the High Museum's free Access for All day this past week. I went to see the new Data Verse exhibit but didn't like it, instead I found that I liked the Thinking Eye Seeing Mind collection which was [โฆ]
