it is extremely scary yea, working on oneself is basically being ridiculously uncomfortable and doing uncomfortable things until you become comfortable with it

i been taking great steps to find communities i can call home. i've been meeting so many people, and generally feeling quite nice lately! im making a lot of art, but choosing not to post the most of it.

chasing stability after a life of trauma ended up bringing me deep loneliness too. i found that only thru taking risks and steppin outside my comfort zone did i ever been finding things i was looking for. community and connection with others

I know what you mean!! i used to find and frequent furmeets and localized furry group chats to meet ppl when i wuz younger. if you’re in the U.S, most states i been to have one. or are starting one (cleveland had its first mini con!). If you have telegram, theres a bot for finding furry group chats

i once spoke to cool critter cassidy (shoutout PA) , a necessary convo.. theres so much community here i cant see because my head is ,literally, down ,all da time. people need friends and i need to be that friend!!!!

being online provides a false sense of community because it feels like im existing with ppl in real time. im a furry because its the only community i ever known. im existing inside of a product that feeds on loneliness.
when my art blows up, im rushing with dopamine, the numbers drugged me!
