Trumpy, he'd go to New York.
Can vouch for this.
When did this come in?

it is past time to impeach and remove from office the painfully clueless pete hegseth:

I’m not
Curious. In practical terms, what did this somewhat opaque phrase mean? He wanted a private jet to fly him home? Airside immigration and a chauffeur? Few nights listed as “Mr Smith” in a 5* hotel? What?
I explained a while ago that it would be impossible to say anything about Trump’s Iranian ‘adventure’ with absolute certainty. I’m sorry, I was wrong. He will *never* do anything that genuinely upsets or angers Vladimir Putin. Whether in Iran, in Ukraine or even in the USA. It is his only constant.
Quite the thread.
Trump's morality. A thread. 🧵
I'm proud to say that my good friend @robsteele.bsky.social wrote the review of this book for Literary Review last year.
The fuck kind of answer is this
If it’s true that the United States bombed an elementary school and killed scores of children it is an unfathomable crime. I have never been more disgusted to be an American.
I remember when ‘Brexit Means Brexit’ became a way for silly people to insist that they supported something they could neither justify nor explain. Obviously the context is very different, but something similar is already happening with the ‘war’ in Iran. And it’s mostly the same people doing it.
One theocracy toppling another.
If Trump really can’t control Netanyahu, it seems at least feasible that Iran becomes Gaza 2.0, up to & including the hideous pretence that they bomb a land to smithereens to somehow help the people living there.
Oh.
Trump has told Fox anchor Bret Baier that he's pleased with Hegseth and Caine, because they look like they have come out of "central casting". And that the Iranians are so desperate to find replacement leaders for Khamanei that "even they don't know" the people they are putting in place.
That’s a £30 billion black hole in our economy, according to the IFS. And a ‘car crash’ for our care industry & the NHS. Just for starters. On the plus side, Bromsgrove currently has hundreds of union flags flying from lampposts.

I like the government pivot to reminding voters that Farage is an avowed enemy of NATO & Europe & an ardent admirer of Vladimir Putin, who routinely orders the murders of critics & opponents. It is politically effective & morally essential.
I prefer it when ‘Traitors’ describes the TV program, not the people potentially electing the next government.
I'm currently reading this novel and it's more than portentous.
I am the pet.
