I just had my 10 yr anniversary with my local library system. Spent the first 5 in circ and the last 5 in marketing and program planning. It’s a good day job to have for an illustrator. The proximity to books, readers and fantastic librarians has been enlightening and rewarding. Good luck!

I met a Luna moth the last of May. She said to me, “Life is sweet. Take joy where you find it; a sun-warmed wall, the breeze through wildflowers, squirrel-chatter, distant laughter, and reading many books. Make haste, winter comes.” She said no more but bent one gold-feathered antennae in farewell.
