What a disappointment Polis has been. I hope he never runs for another office because this betrayal will not be forgotten.

Is this the time where all the anti-Schumer/Jefferies people are going to start bitching and moaning about how the Dem leadership isnโ€™t doing enough? Maybe if they yell more and stop talking about kitchen table topics and โ€œfight harderโ€ the Repubs will changeโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ™„

Hays county is definitely not Austinโ€™s area home baseโ€ฆ thatโ€™s a much more rural area that includes Wimberley and San Marcos as the two largest populations in that county. I think itโ€™s gonna come down to Harris County(Houston), Travis county(Austin) and San Antonio(Tallarico will win this one

I have a hard time believing there are โ€œhard-core โ€œ Fetterman loyalists.๐Ÿ˜‚

I doubt he even gets enough votes to qualify for the debates. If he cracks .2% Iโ€™d be shocked.

Dudes high on cocaine.

Some say Rubio is flustered. But based off that speech he gave a month ago, Iโ€™d say heโ€™s a regular cocaine user now. Iโ€™ve been listening to this guy talk, unfortunately, for last 20 years and heโ€™s never sounded more like a coke head than he does now. Thatโ€™s the kompromat they have on himโ€ฆ

JFC whatโ€™s wrong with you peopleโ€ฆ Mitch McConnell was the majority leader for the last two years of the Obama administration. He didnโ€™t hold up a goddamn thing during the first two years when he was in the minority. Google is free. Use it.

This little whiny bitch couldnโ€™t handle everyone telling him he was wrong so apparently he just blocked meโ€ฆlol I feel so owned..๐Ÿ™„

I am confident that I am on several of those listsโ€ฆ but at the end of the day, the game is bringing more people into the fold than you lose. Sometimes being put on those lists just makes my life easier so I donโ€™t have to muddle through all the nonsense before I end up blocking them anyway

02.03.2026 23:15 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

But I totally understand what youโ€™re saying. I try and stay away from the labels because theyโ€™re so easily co-opted. And I will NOT be put in a box.

02.03.2026 23:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I know what youโ€™re saying, but thatโ€™s just a bunch of semantics in my opinion. I think when we divvy up left of center to that extent we are creating unnecessary stratification in the party. I do think that thereโ€™s an extreme far left thoughโ€ฆ And I guess we can call them whatever we want.

02.03.2026 23:05 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

lol. I have to try that. Usually, I just entertain the conversation until I get bored and either stop responding or block them. I also frequently unblock peopleโ€ฆ I guess sometimes Iโ€™m ever the optimist that people can change. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

02.03.2026 22:59 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

True statement. I think that plus some of the far left end up being just as much of ideologues and single issue voters as the right. Itโ€™s why arguing with them is so difficult. Itโ€™s my way or the highway, which doesnโ€™t lend itself to compromise or forward progress.

02.03.2026 22:55 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

A year ago I wouldโ€™ve disagreed with that comment. But Iโ€™m coming around to the idea that thereโ€™s more fake liberals on here than I thought. Good thing my Spidey sense detects bullshit from a mile away. ๐Ÿ˜‚

02.03.2026 22:53 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 3    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Theyโ€™re lazy and ineffective. Itโ€™s not like weโ€™re not trying to fight. Weโ€™re just trying to fight in a way that gets results. Itโ€™s so obvious ppl like this have never worked in politics, never had to compromise on a deal, never took initiative on anything except pointing out other peopleโ€˜s failures.

02.03.2026 22:51 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 4    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

To be fair, you seem to know a lot about asses. And I donโ€™t pull numbers out of nowhere.

02.03.2026 21:29 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Iโ€™ve been in politics for over 40 years. You can go get fucked. And go kick some rocks and pound some sand while youโ€™re at it. You and all the other cynics who think thereโ€™s some magic wand that fixes everything are the problem A bunch of lazy ass whiners. Meanwhile, Iโ€™ll be fighting for democracy.

02.03.2026 21:29 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

If these people would spend half as much time being productive as they do complaining about things that are literally impossible to accomplish currently, we may not be where we are right now today. They seem to think that if our leaders just bitch harder, things will change.

02.03.2026 21:04 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

75% of our country doesnโ€™t follow politics on the regular nor do they care about politics. You can try and get ppl to go on talk shows that they donโ€™t watch and scream into the void. But to sit here and complain about our elected leaders, talking about issues that matter to regular ppl is lame

02.03.2026 20:37 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

You clearly donโ€™t live in reality. But continue to bitch about things that you canโ€™t control and assign purity tests to reps that canโ€™t do anything until we take back the house and the Senate. Jesusโ€ฆ Ppl like you are the reason we donโ€™t get anywhere. This isnโ€™t a click your heels 3 times sitch. ๐Ÿ™„

02.03.2026 20:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 6    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Thereโ€™s definitely a Congress. And the rules are still mostly being followed. However, the GOP have certainly abdicated their power to the executive for this term. Which is why taking back the House and the Sen in the midterms is critical. If the GOP was fully in the tank, it would be much worse.

02.03.2026 16:28 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Another terrible Supreme Court decision from the early 80s requiring a war powers resolution to be required to present to the president for a veto. President should not be allowed to veto an inherent constitutional power.

02.03.2026 16:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

2/.. that may be a kitchen table topic but in the real world thatโ€™s more important to the average American. majority of ppl in US donโ€™t actually follow politics so you gotta talk to ppl in the way they need to be spoken to. Again, I hear you, but complaining like this is less effective than winning.

02.03.2026 16:15 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I donโ€™t know what youโ€™re talking about. I follow politics closely and nobodyโ€™s talking about kitchen table issues. Talking about the corruption and demanding people resign and threatening impeachment. Just because you got a few people out there saying we got a bring down food costโ€ฆ1/..

02.03.2026 16:15 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I feel the sentiment. But the reality is that Congress works in a particular way and itโ€™s not fast. Beating our heads against a wall that isnโ€™t going to move is a pointless endeavor currently. But they are plenty of things we can do. Like take back the House and Senate in the midterms.

02.03.2026 16:13 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Well, that I 100% agree on! Lol the edit button shouldโ€™ve been rolled out when Bluesky rolled down first or at least within the first few months

02.03.2026 16:11 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

That may be true. But again, weโ€™re talking about what can be done. Performative bullshit doesnโ€™t really move the needle much. Especially in a situation right now when everyone knows what we need to do. We just need the power to do it.
