Sadly, we had to leave our home. But knowing that, we reduced feeding and the local farmers knew we were going (they were already feeding the cats anyway); I know that some cats went to a friend's garden up the road, so although I still feel guilty about leaving them, I think they would have coped.

Yes, sadly we lost her to a virus which decimated the cat population that summer. It hit kittens and adults with pre-existing medical problems the hardest. Lychee was 14 months old - when she first arrived at 4 months old, she weighed less than a 1 month kitten, so she had come a long way ❤️🐾
