Speedpaint of #Mel from #arcane
I painted it in the blue/purple first as a value study. Then just used the hue slider and some colour balance (for the gold) to get her original colour scheme
Pretty impressed I got it so close tbh
The sort of character you'd meet for 30 seconds in silksong and then have a quiet breakdown in act III when you find their discarded mask in the corner of a random hallway

I've always avoided them myself. Tried some for the first time the other week and the results were terrible. Haha
I always used watercolour, did a little gouache a few years back, but oils just kick my ass. Lol
Probably my favourite Lynedecker piece. If you put this and the original next to each other, I'd struggle to pick which is which.
