Mysterious how 6 hours can pass in a blink but waiting 10 minutes for food feels a lifetime

thank you <3 it's definitely not fun, but I'm okay. It's weird, we've kept rats for about 10 years now, so while you never really get used to them passing, esp when they pass early, it becomes an accepted, grounding fact of them.

thank you so much for your kind words <3 I definitely cried my eyes out, kind of shocked no headache followed. Will miss her so much, but at least there's nothing but good memories and 3 of her sisters to pamper

ty <3 she was a special baby. One of my main highlights waking up every day... hard to accept she's gone, but I had nothing but good moments with her so those will remain

right? Like, babies, why can't you have problems during the weekday working hours :(

granted, with what we suspect, a vet wouldn't have even been able to help her, to the point where we wouldn't have even had time to get her in to put her down. It's rough, but I was holding her at least

we told her while saying goodbye if she decides to come back again that she's contracted to 3 years minimum.
