It's oddly fun to make these rudimentary sets in Easy Pose for scenes with complex locations that I know will require a million different angles lol not having to plot out the horizon line for each camera angle and rotate the set in my head (or using the floor plan transform method) is a godsend.

Oh, aye, and I never meant it to sound like it was the "only way!" to do so, just that it was a preference. Finding what works best for you is *always* the key to art, especially when accommodations need to be met! (I have to alot several for myself for shaking hands and migraine/fatigue)

Every now and then Bluesky loves to just turbofuck the compression/saturation on uploads and I don't get it lmao

It always sucks to lose work like that, but I try to think about it like cutting hair for a fresh start, or burning old growth to nourish the new. You can come back stronger than before, (and paranoid like me, with MULTIPLE backups now lmao)

aw don't feel too discouraged! I know that's easier said than done, but I've been there. Lost so so so much work twice over in two major crashes (one where I had backups and the freakin' backup crashed)

I grew up with the very first turtles. they are kind of a mix between TUBULAR SURF TEENS and just "cool adults" , but I think that's a lot to do with maybe skewing for older teens to try and snag as many "Kids'll think hthey're cool" as possible without hitting the "FOR BABIES" cutoff lol

you're still drawing with skill when you use these QOL tools. Never forget that animators often used live action footage/maquettes (and of course, rotoscoping). Famous painters like Rockwell used models and diorama sets. etc. etc.

I sculpted busts of my main Soli characters for angle ref, too!

but so long as you put in your work, so long as you're creating and using ethical tools, you're not cheating. For that matter, the liquify/transform tools are NEVER cheating. Liquify exists in real life, it's called "Using a light table to redraw the pose with a stronger push" (3)
