Strange New Worlds S03E01 has been a real disappointment.

Embarrassing dialogs and situations, grotesque nemesis, deus ex machina ad nauseum, so so acting and lazy, anti-climatic resolution…

But at least, it looks very good 🤷🏻‍♂️

I guess it is time to add a few new mute keywords until the end of the season, that’s the best way for me to stay away from spoilers 😊

I had to fight the (highly tech savvy) prods for this workflow. I told them that the only workflow that’s bullet proof. They are used to work with rushes directly in FCP. They were eventually agreed to try and were pleased by the results. We are beginning this week a new series on those bases. 😊

No third party tools for the move. They edited H264 or ProRes Proxy proxies (depending on where in the world the editor was based and his internet connection) from the F9 rushes that I made with EditReady with Burn ins and I relinked to the original footage in Resolve. It was flawless. 7 1-hour Ep

My experience has been very smooth on the last document series. 50% Sony F9 files (20 days), most multicam, 50% archive files in all format imaginable. Everything relinked flawlessly. FCP 10.4.6 and R18.1 I did all the dailies and DIT too, maybe it has some incidence
