By far one of my favorite SAGE demos, and the main characters are so lovely! And that FM music is *chef’s kiss* sublime.

Happy anniversary! Megaton Girl deserves every bit of love it gets, and I hope others continue to find out about Connie's adventures, as she really is a gem of a heroine.

No matter where I see genAI, whether it’s to shill or dunk on it, it’s a sad reminder that water and electricity were wasted yet again to produce more slop.

True; with all the features and additions it has, it’s really its own game! (Plus the fact I can jump into it from the main menu without any main game requirements is very appreciated.)

It hurts to see something so good be ignored. If you haven’t, give Brok the InvestiGator and its DLC a play; it was made with a lot of love!

I foresee that number of Godot games going up in the future!

The faux-Atari style box of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People. Advertising “5 Adventure Packed Actionsodes!” and featuring “Pointing”, “Clicking”, and “Pixels”. Made by Videlectrix (who may have had a *little* help from Telltale).

Too bad it doesn’t have Telltale’s best game!

On the pixel art topic, it doesn’t help that some people have an irrational hatred for hand drawn graphics, and I just don’t understand why. The idea of a playable cartoon is something that delights me, and that’s part of why Brok looked so appealing.

Ms. Location dressed as Ms. Cream from Scoop Kick. She’s kicking a giant ice cream scoop, which I’ll admit was hard for me to draw and make it look like ice cream. Ah well, hope you like it anyway!

Jenny Getty dressed as Frankie from Knights of Guinevere. This was practically gift-wrapped; the moment I saw Frankie, I was like “That’s Jenny’s costume!”

Marblina as Meemee from Super Monkey Ball, holding two bananas. I tried mixing different elements from her different designs, using the Banana Mania look as a starting point.

Ellie Mina as Bub from Bubble Bobble, holding her arms out and running. I almost did a version where the costume includes the head, and I could finish that one if enough people want it!

The game that started my love of bullet hells. What a magnificent way to kick off this game!

Star Type and Cadence are dressed as Boyfriend and Girlfriend, respectively, from Friday Night Funkin’. Star Type is rapping into the microphone while giving a peace sign (note that the hat doesn’t fit entirely on his head). Cadence is sitting on the speaker the way Girlfriend usually does, with crossed legs, and she’s subtly turning up the volume dial with her thumb. The speaker is loosely modeled after the Sega Genesis speakers you could preorder back in the day.

What would Halloween be without an #oc costume party? This one was a request from Cadence’s designer; hope you like it!

I have a few other costumes in the pipeline, but no guarantee that they’ll be colored in like this. Sorry; life is busy! #art #purveyor

You already know I love this game. The SAGE version is outdated, with the Steam demo having bugfixes and improvements (though it changes the "what the hell a nonogram is" joke). Can't wait to see what adventures these characters have!

Paloo Spiral on Steam Classic run n' gun gameplay mixed with fast paced melee combat! Rack up your combo to unleash even more powerful attacks!

This one really stuck with me! There's a high skill ceiling in how you shoot first, then melee to finish off enemies. The presentation makes it memorable; the graphics are colorful and amazingly detailed, and Paloo's design is creative and downright adorable!

This follows the Tripeaks format to an extent while adding a roguelite flair. I'd have to try it again to fully understand every mechanic, but what's here shows potential!

The presentation was ABSOLUTELY on point with this one, scratching that cyber-PS1 itch very nicely. That said, the gameplay was a bit hard to get used to; it's not bad at all, but I wasn't clicking with it. Could just be a me issue. Still want to see where this goes.
