Big fan of play reports because they help others understand one way of making D&D "go", demonstrate where the energy is located in certain modules or adventure styles, or (in the case of old-school D&D) how quirky facets are navigated.

If I could add one thing, it would be to *read* more blogs as well. I have been in a bit of a reading slump for a while, and getting out of it, it is amazing how much it inspires me to write. If nothing else, because I see something I disagree with and must respond
