Don't worry, we solved our problem by having the PC come in contact with another, stronger, cured item the party owns.

The curse object is suppressing the demons that were possessing the PCs. Its a cat-rat-cheese situation in the body of a grave robber instead of a grandma.

Trench Crusade is also interesting. For any check, roll 2d6 & aim for a 7+; things are modified with a + or - die meaning you roll 3d6 or 4d6 take 2 highest/lowest dice.

Then roll on an injury chart

I really like it for a potentially exploration focused system. Where combat is not the point but you might want spiky moments of opportunity *in* combat

Random advancement is one great way to run character classes. Because a roll stymies optimization & frequency is assigned, you can put some pretty crazy powers on there.

Plus multi-classing can be done by pick which of two tables to roll on.

Been watching this develop. Itโ€™s pretty amazing.

I think it helps highlight how the old-school scene (by blogs) is ~6 different groups of people who may/may not be communicating.

Harder to see, but present, is the temporal aspect of the old-school scene growth & change
