A ton of graphical options (reduced flicker)
Trigger reduction (removing some "intense" scripted sequences, reduced blood)
Difficulty options to reduce enemies and focus on exploration.
And they're all mix-n-match too!

Once Thwimbly is done I want to see if Picotron is closer to what I'm looking for in a hyperpowered fantasy console
That's totally fair. I went back and forth about it for the same reasons
I landed on the other side of the fence because the way Thwimbly stores its levels limits me to 28 levels max, and I was concerned about people beating the game and refunding. I think that's less of a problem for Emuurom
Dang, Thwimbly is at 255107 and I thought that was high.
I forked TIC to add extra banks for Thwimbly, so that's an option for extra code space if you want it. I understand if you want to keep the purist approach though :)

The jump tokens look like candy, I want to eat them, really happy with how my shading has improved over time

Finally getting near photorealism in my Blender Renders. It's the little things that make all the difference.
The background was just downloaded from CGtrader, it's not as polished as optimal, but its decent enough at first glance.
Render is of a new 3lb battlebot for competition : )
Especially so late in the game (this is world 5 of 7), it's going to feel weird as a player if the number of obstacles suddenly halves
Emulating Celeste's Forsaken City is the goal, but maintaining readability with 25 colors (give or take) is a lot harder in a fantasy console
I'll figure it out :)
The number one challenge with this world and theme is the density. It looks great (if I do say so etc.), but it was designed with looks first in mind.
Making gameplay work with this decoration density is going to be a massive challenge.
