I did notice a menacing scarecrow on a wooden pole at one point and then an empty wooden pole later. But I’m sure that’s fine!

I attended a protest today and loved how people were so friendly and energized. Here are a couple of my favorite signs!

Hello my splooting friend

Of course, they started requesting food far too much so I created a sign to indicate no more nuts (for the day) They seem to understand my sign since they stop requesting and start doing other crow business for a few hours.

Yep! I gift them unsalted nuts every once in a while.

They’re smart! They started asking for nuts using a specific noise (a high-pitched coo) and thus trained me to throw out nuts when I heard that sound.

I’d love to see more ravens nearby, but I adore my neighborhood crows. Every year, my crows bring by their fledglings (old enough to fly but still being fed) and I adore how they all interact. It’s really fun to see a fledgling be slightly clumsy then scream at their family for a snack.

I mostly see crows where I live, though every once in a while I notice a slightly bigger one and wonder if they’re actually a raven. Then I see an actual raven and realize they’re giants (no “slightly” about them!)

It’s been a bit chiller here too (though it’s warmer today) and I’ve been enjoying the extra cuddles from my cats as they enjoy my warmth!

This is definitely their month to shine!

Gidget decided to blend in with the decor while Gadget destroyed zombie figurines. Gadget, as a smart kitty, went straight for the heads.

I adore Stardew Valley! I love the farming mechanics, the charming characters, and how you can root through trash cans!

On 4th of July, I celebrate those who strive for the joyful ideals of America while denouncing so many of its actions (especially current horrid actions).
