Voidstorm honestly got so many neurons firing in my brain in regards to my Devourer and ideas for her. I hope it stays relevant for a while this xpac.
My plan if/when we get belf druids is to just make a thalassian version of my nelf druidess (sister of the moon) and then never explain the similarity.
I'm right there with you. If it were say, buy it once to unlock the ability to buy more with gold, or something, I'd be less weirded out by it.
I've headcanoned that some Void Elf Demon Hunters might still wear the blindfolds as a way to hone their connection to the whispers and better differentiate them, but it should definitely be optional, with normal eyes being the default.
Elowyn (my pfp) is 205, I tend to go with the lore that Anasterian was considered an extreme outlier for age at over 2700 when he died, and assume most Thalassian elves live 1.5k at most. I feel it works better with their lore, personally.
It was perhaps a mistake to design a home that will require upwards of a dozen Sin'dorei Winged Chaises to work properly. Possibly.
It would be nice to have a followup flashback of her time in TBC. This short makes the inception of the Blood Knights seem as much her vengeance against the Light as the Scourge.
It seems like a bug as opposed to intended, I've encountered the same thing but sometimes the water stays, or comes back, with no rhyme or reason. Fingers crossed Blizz fixes it eventually.
My favourite Forsaken is Tehd Shoemaker, because by all accounts he was legit just some random cobbler who got raised, somehow had the inherent willpower to break free and become Forsaken, then decided to become the most competent warlock on the Horde.
Little ranger boots sticking out from under it and all, huh?
What we saw in her backstory is interesting for sure, her world seems like it was Light-centric maybe, that sun-pendant. But what we saw happen to her physical form looked a lot like what I imagine reorigination looks like. Turning Azeroth to the Void would be pretty big vengeance, if so.
They need to work out so they can properly flip their desk any time Thalassian politics go off the rails. So once or twice a week, minimum.
One of the most diabolical things Blizz has done is create a new allied race (Earthen), give it all updated or more ornate versions of existing Dwarf/Dark Iron hair and beard styles, and then not giving said Dwarves/Dark Irons those customization options too.
This is actually a common misconception, that elves are or have ever been addicted to magic. An understandable mistake, but in truth, elves are not addicted to any form of magic at all. They're addicted to wells.
It THAT what's causing it? It's been driving me crazy. Not all of us are good at steering, Blizz, some of us are genuinely running their mounts and vehicles face first into that corner!
This is actually funnier, because it means they're summoning her and Benedictus only to get beat down within 30 seconds.
And the worst part is all that gold doesn't even match.
Asira Dawnslayer is one of the pre-patch rares, which is really funny to me because it implies she survived being a dungeon boss, hid out for 15 years entirely free and clear, only to sign up to help Xal'atath and get immediately bodied for subpar loot.
Mixed bag for me, a lot of my attachment to DF is to the initial launch areas, where it was more like... grounded frontier exploration in a lot of zones, with a side of dragons. Anything beyond that I'm more ambivalent towards, even the Emerald Dream.
I did, and it was amazing.
I see you put the Spellbreaker glaive in Warglaives, Blizzard. Put it in one-handed swords where it belongs...
Not sure how popular/unpopular it actually is, but Zul'drak has always fascinated me as a zone design. I especially like how the further into it you go, the more the Scourge corruption fades.
Wild to think a major studio green lit what would become a major franchise trilogy based on... a ride at one of their theme parks. No preexisting IP, no prior media to use, no fan base to crutch off of.
Shaking and crying as I select the 'Circlet' hairstyle on a draenei woman for the umpteenth time.
I know next month's trading post is likely going to be Lunar Fest and Love Is In the Air stuff... but it would be really cool if it also had the belf guard set (and the glaives and shield) that the NPCs have been using for months and months. Just saying...
Can't believe you lied to me like that.
Cosmic/Voidy eye colours for void elf DHs would go a long way to selling the class/race combo. For the new spec in general, but especially for the Velves, lorewise the Void Elf Demon Hunters have nothing to do with Fel magic at all.
It's especially weird because the ONE DEMON HUNTER WHO GOES FULL VOID, Adarus Duskblaze, who is also part of the velf DH prequel currently (and a Manaforge Omega boss) was specifically given a Rogue tier helm so he would have glowing blue eyes. It's a strange oversight.
My belf sorceress Elowyn (my PFP) got the killing blow on a self-styled 'Sun-Prince' Titan construct at a server event recently. Because she's spiteful and took issue with his presumptive theme, her last words to him were "By the will of the sun" in Thalassian before dropping the proverbial nuke.
I'm going to spend countless hours using this setting to create a room that's just a hunk of rock floating in Telogrus, and I'm already dreading the hit to my sanity.
