Not sure of the dates yet but emergency timetable on the SWR West of England line is likely soon due to shrinkage of the clay embankments much of the line runs on. Probably in place from end of July through August. #SWR #railway #rail

But are Reform really “making the political weather” as you, so uncritically say, Chris Mason, or are you making it for them by hyperventilating over each grubby little Tory-Reform-reshuffle, without *ever* properly scrutinising the howling failures of these deeply unpleasant, grifting clowns?

while these tariffs are bad news for anyone who makes anything and wants to sell it overseas, it’s tremendous news for people who make things of zero worth, such as ai or crypto

Latest OBR assessment: Brexit caused a 4% hit to GDP.

That's an astounding amount, the equivalent of more than £100,000,000,000 lost to Brexit.

It's sad to see this #Labour government being trashed by the disastrous economic consequences of Brexit in the same way as the Tories were. Labour are finished.

'Nothing can deliver growth like a better EU deal' - Best for Britain Best for Britain have urged the government to agree an improved deal with the EU, saying this will deliver more growth than any other policy.

Rachel Reeves is pursuing a growth strategy that will hit the poorest in our society the hardest.

There is a much better alternative.

A closer trading relationship with the EU could grow the economy by up to 2.2%. #SpringStatement

There is an alternative to Government welfare cuts - a 2% tax on wealth. There is no shortage of money here, we just need a fairer approach to tax - take more from the few not the many.

Dear BBC the USA is not ‘stepping up pressure on Ukraine to agree a peace deal’. It is taking Russia’s side in the war.

Thames Water creditors ask watchdog to defer sewage spill fines Financial institutions want Ofwat to pause penalties for failings on water leaks and spillages for several years while the utility tackles its problems

Thames Water creditors ask England watchdog to pause fines for sewage dumping, unplugged leaks.

They don't want to end profiteering, cash extraction, undeserved exec pay.

The industry is financially, morally and environmentally bankrupt.

Only public ownership can end the abuses.

Its very easy to tax the rich, all their wealth comes from the properties and companies they own, and these can't move.

That's what they don't want you to know.

If Brexit had never happened…

…we’d be much wealthier, with more investment in public services, better trade - and with our parliament & govt having spent the last decade doing far more productive things.

Dear Cornish people, if you don’t stand up and oppose the 16 SEZs that are being installed right now in Cornwall, you can expect to see all public services privatised and absorbed by private equity, corporate taxes unpaid while ordinary citizens taxes are hiked>
