Happy Pride, I guess!

Survived last night’s challenge.

And that is to skip the gym.

I didn’t skip. I showed up. Good thing I did.

Started hating the magic mouse I’m using for work and decided to try this ergonomic mouse. My, oh my.

I miss working out! Still recovering from sickness after my travels two weeks ago. I think the virus is real. May is really a breakout month haha

Didn’t expect that I would be able to chill at La Union, knowing that the place would be packed during the weekend.

It’s a good strategy arriving on a Wednesday as I had that day and Thursday to appreciate the place, minus the crowd.

The iPad experience from an anti-iPad person is a refreshing experience. Coming from someone who is using the Apple Ecosystem, an iPad is a welcome addition to it not just to the ecosystem but to the range of creative possibilities that I can do. All within a portable size.

I am still exploring the ways I can make the most out of it but here is what’s working for me so far.

- Read and edit documents and notes
- Create graphics/art cards on Canva

Since getting familiarised with my workflow and my preferences, I have come to realise that having a gadget where you can access documents on a bigger screen (smaller than a laptop and bigger than a phone) and portable size will come in handy. That’s where the iPad came in.

I used to be an anti-iPad. I found it to be counterproductive and somewhat useless especially when you already have a laptop. But now that I own one, it gained me a different perspective on how I can make use of it minus the bulk that I normally carry on a laptop.

I chose to be the bigger person but damn, I never knew it could be tiring.

All of a sudden, everything just clicks. It's as if I have achieved my most realised self to date. Someone who is able to control how he reacts to situations beyond control. I felt that yesterday and I guess I deserve a pat on the back.

Or a hug.

So my advice for those who have an Apple iPhone 13 Pro? Don't get a new phone, have your battery replaced at an authorised service centre instead. It will change your life.

I had my phone's battery replaced and you know what? It felt like buying a new phone, for less.

I got to experience it as if it's a brand new phone, back from scratch.

This allowed me to download the necessary apps and keep my phone clean from all the clutter.

Let us see where this direction, or rather redirection, will take us.

This also explains why I haven’t been that active here. My body is still filled with duties and errands to fill despite the shakeup that has happened for the past few days. Just like everything else, we’ll get this through.

Family on the mother’s side has been busy after the passing our aunt. The routine of everyone has been rattled, which I think is a natural thing.

After weeks of working and living amidst the busyness of life lately, we finally got this well deserved break. Hope the bloomfies in the PH are taking their Lenten break!
