They do love to manufacture emergencies. Whether by design or incompetence.

For some, it was just the signing bonus and it seems many were too stupid to read the fine print. That's why they're panicking about it being for five years. Being in a few incidents in a few months is one thing, having five years of it is tougher to explain away.

It must be great to only look at surface information and think you know everything. That they don't know how stupid they look is depressing.

They could already get additional bases if they wanted, so it seems like nothing actually changed. It's theatre to make it look like Trump got somthing. Another pretend prize so he doesn't have another tantrum.

Just listen how many of his followers interpreted what he said. "No he doesn't mean it like that", "No, he meant 'this'", some were more creative. It's like watching clouds and seeing images. People read into his waffle what they want.

In the conterxt that they use it, it means what they want it to mean. It used to be immgrants making the US great (look at the history of most famous citizens). Now it's white supremacy.

Like many born into wealth, he's always been in his own world. I has no idea of what most of the human race is like or how they live. His ability to even care is based solely on how well everyone caters to his desires because that's all he's known.

Add mental decline, it's a fair bit worse.

Never fall for the trap of thinking somone elses meanings for words matches yours. That is politics 101 manipulation.

If I were from her country I'd have to ask myself "if she is willing to lower herself that far for trump on a chance he may help her get power, what else is she willing to do for such a person?"

During Trumps election campaign I thought I'd never hear anything dumber than what he and his people were saying. They proved me wrong almost every day since. They HAVE to be having us on.

It's easier to get something done when it doesn't really mean anything. It's a nice symbol. But sometimes evil will let you have a small win to mollify you so they can keep getting the big wins.

If the tough talkers lead the troops I’d at least have a modicum of respect. But they are just in it for the bullying, and cash of course.

I preferred when the US at least tried to look like the good guys. Committing crimes is a crime, even against criminals. Not to mention collateral kills.

He really wants to but he didn’t get the support he wanted from the military and even from most citizens now. I thought he’d do it anyway some time ago but he’s been more cautious than I thought he’d be. Thankfully.

When trump said “no more wars” I think most of us thought that meant “no more killing and leave others alone”. Clearly not.

Not being able to trust a word he says make the killings even more suspect than usual.

I never get why people still listen to others that are almost always wrong. I see "experts" often making predictions that fail and yet they still get paid to talk.

Anders Puc Nealson is the best I've found so far. No hype, factual, decent prediction rate, and a current military professional.
