Best Visual Art & Animations 2025 2nd Place Adventure Game by International Jury 2025

I can't express how much it means to win an award for Best Art & Animation. I've been doing the art for my games for nearly 25 years and only just got to the point where I thought it was "good" with Rosewater.

Old Skies

This beautiful point and click narrative driven game should be on everyone's gaming bucket list. The story, the animation, the voice acting, the details - everything is so perfect and well thought out.

Quite a no-brainer to try it out.

The Drifter (by @dave.powerhoof.com) is yet another great #adventuregame for the 2025 lineup. I can strongly recommend the game, but be aware of the heavy subjects in the game. My review for the game is here: www.nicegamehints.com/a/the-drifte...

Very much looking forward to playing this when I’m in Melbs this year. 😂 (PS. I have been helping the devs with a little research and the interviews I’ve been conducting have been truly hilarious.)

In-game hints are the best, but guide by the dev is the clear runner-up! @gugames.eu glad to help you with either of those. @kinigames.bsky.social luckily the format of your game is such that the hints should be quite easy to develop (like Rise of the Golden Idol). Your demo was rad!
