NEW: Alongside 16 other Democrats, @warren.senate.gov is introducing the American Homeownership Act of 2026.

This bill takes private equity's chokehold on housing head on — ending major federal tax deductions & other unfair benefits for Wall Street landlords, while reinvesting in families.

Haven’t we made clear?

NO KINGS

It was good the governor lifted up CT’s response to HR1 and called for the extension of the fund. We disagree that CT can’t fill the holes, especially if we reclaim the Trump tax cuts for the wealthiest amongst us. We can do better.

Very good to hear the Governor emphasize efficiency, to call out Eversource and UI’s lobbying while calling for PURA to not be bullied

Also glad to hear the Governor call for universal affordable healthcare. We still need to help LOI’s with more than just primary care and need to see if the CT option really moves the needle on this front

@ctcag.bsky.social Governor Lamont opening his speech talking about about Minnesota and concluding contrasting it to CT while exclaiming ICE OUT was powerful and appropriate for these timed.

Call Gov. Lamont today: (860) 566-4840. CT needs clear guardrails so the National Guard can’t be misused for intimidation or harmful domestic deployments. A 60-second call helps protect our rights and our communities.

Democracy can’t be bargained away. When an administration threatens elections and tries to trade voter data for “order,” that’s authoritarianism in plain sight.

The MAGA’s regime's strategy is to overwhelm and intimidate us so we lose focus and stop fighting back. They’re escalating ICE intimidation, hiking healthcare costs, rolling back climate protections, and pushing war-for-oil. Our answer: stay grounded, care for each other, and organize.

We cannot afford a divided and weak opposition party when an authoritarian is invading our cities, terrorizing our communities, and corruptly self-enriching at the expense of the rest of us.

We want to celebrate a Democratic Party that fights back. But after this latest surrender, the next step is primaries and new leadership. We get the party we demand, and we intend to demand one that fights.
