I suppose I don't talk about my autism that much, but I can completely understand this. I have a carefully built mask I have to maintain and wear whenever I'm dealing with people I'm not comfortable with and its a constant drain and stress. The urge to isolate and vegetate is often strong.

Trump hasn’t changed. What has changed is that these people have chosen to sell their souls for power.

This tone deaf horseshit FEELS like a repeated attempt to turn one group of autistic folks against another, falsely implying that society can support those with low support needs OR those with high support needs, but not both.
