Mostly behind-the-scenes work this week, but for #ScreenshotSaturday we have the Ascended mechanic and boss health bars.

If you out level a boss's assumed range, they will know foulness is afoot and become Ascended, empowering their stats and granting new abilities.

Figured out a good process on how to add 2D character art into a 3D scene; placeholder panels, taking a screenshot, and then using that as a guide for the art. Also added poles and been buffing up the dialog system 🎭

It's a photograph showing Tactus running on a real NES! A SNES controller is plugged into P1, and a PowerPad is plugged into P2. Either one can be used to fully control the game.

Today in especially cursed input methods, I am pleased to present working Power Pad support for my #nes game Tactus. Like other entries in the rhythm-based roguelike genre, it is **remarkably** difficult to play like this. Ermh... enjoy? #gamedev #screenshotsaturday
