Line dancing around straight people is always such an interesting experience. Not even in a bad way, it's just like a weird culture shock. Also I definitely read as Nonthreatening Masculine Queer Person to every single one of them. So many people talk to me at straight line dancing things.

Anyway it's all very silly imho. Working with intention matters a lot!

Including sex and gore and religious themes or whatever in horror stories doesn't mean you're inherently using them as a crutch or creating something lowbrow the same way deliberately NOT including them doesn't inherently mean you've created something elevated or surprising.

The horror zine rules thing going around is so funny in how deeply self congratulatory it is. I don't even think there's anything wrong with classing horror without sex or gore as horror, but the tone of moral and creative superiority that comes with it is SO funny.

I've been playing a lot of top lane lately and don't get me wrong I'm definitely like, Bad At It, but I am starting to feel like I kind of understand the point of it at least.

Alan Wake II's "We Sing" chapter is still one of the all time coolest and most fun game moments of all time. I don't think anything has even remotely come close to topping it. What a thing. What a little miracle.

I understand logistically why they had to change the text chat-based communication to phone calls in the Homestuck show but I also think that maybe doing that is one of the biggest reasons Homestuck should never be a show lol. It's....rough. Idk man.
