actually in my heart of hearts the hobbit should be a funky little stop motion animation film, which will sadly never be
mainly i wish they’d gone for a more whimsical/folklore vibe, and not tried to do so many callbacks and repetition of the original lotr trilogy. like i wish it had its own unique sound for the soundtrack, or gotten sillier with puppets lol
I FEEL YOU!! except for me it was all the behind the scenes stuff for the lotr movies… there was awhile where i really wanted to be a special effects makeup artist because of that hahhaa
