Working on a new outfit design for Finley to give my cover designer for book 2.
The best character designs can be identified by silhouette alone and Finley is intended to be kind of the “everyman” so I wanted to find a balance for his hairstyle to be unique while still being fairly generic.

We did it, y’all

It’s unfortunate since my goal was to have it released this summer, but I guess the bright side is it will be available for the holidays!🎄

Until then, I have plenty of time to work on the conclusion to the trilogy before the release of book 2!

I found a new cover designer for book 2 of the Nomads trilogy. Unfortunately, they’re not available for another 2 to 3 months while they work on other projects, so the release of my next book will be pushed back to the end of the year. ⬇️

It’s not a perfect film, but it could be the beginning of Marvel’s return to form. I’d recommend giving it a look if you find yourself yearning for a superhero experience that might fit better releasing in the early 2000s instead of the 2020s.

It’s not a high-octane adventure film, electing to try exploring the characters and their dynamics with short bursts of action, but it is certainly enjoyable for what it is, especially since there’s no homework needed before viewing. ⬇️

The importance of family and the question of what should or shouldn’t be sacrificed for the sake of others is a great theme for Marvel’s first family to explore. ⬇️

Fantastic Four: First Steps

I enjoyed the vibrant tone of this film. It leans pretty heavily into the comic book nature of its source material without sacrificing the more intense moments of its narrative for gimmicky jokes, as has been the track record for the MCU for upwards of 5 years. ⬇️
