The Big Build Appeal has raised an incredible amount towards the redevelopment. £11.5 million has now been raised for this project which is an amazing 90% of their fundraising target. I am delighted that Overgate will also benefit from £25 million of government funding released in February.

It was great to attend the Groundbreaking ceremony at Overgate Hospice on Friday.

Overgate are building a new hospice to provide comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families during life's most challenging moments, with expanded facilities and modern amenities.

To celebrate #WorldBookDay, I joined Halifax Academy primary students on a special visit to No.10! 📚✏ They met the Education Secretary @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social, learned to illustrate books & even rapped with MC Grammar (yes, I joined in! 🎤).

I am proud of the Prime Minister’s leadership and proud to be British as we stand firmly for democracy, international law, and freedom.

- Joining the Coalition of the Willing to help uphold a future peace deal🌍
