*reads the White House post*
*chuckles at folks questioning whether Christian nationalism exists*
Pay attention to this. The purpose of these investigations is not just to manufacture evidence to support Trump’s 2020 “voter fraud” accusations, but also to set the stage for another round of efforts to suppress votes and delegitimize election results in 2026 (which the GOP is likely to lose).
NEW @pewresearch.org report I led with my team on religion in Latin America! The study focuses on Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, a group of countries that together make up roughly 75% of the region’s population.

Important new FREE study by Amy Brooke Grauley. Experiments show when Christian leaders warn Christians against Christian nationalism, they're less likely to identify with it, especially if they don't have strong views on it yet. Effects are weaker in the opposite direction.

🧵 Just out in SRE. I dig into how Christian nationalism promotes white supremacy by focusing on racial stereotypes. CN is positively linked with viewing Whites as smarter & more hardworking than Blacks & Latinos. BUT the action is mostly on how CN shapes views re: Whites. 1/5 doi.org/10.1177/2332...

But Republicans actually *increased* in that view, reflecting the hard ethno-nationalist turn.
