Holding off on MSQ for now, but the new Alliance raid was SO FUN!! I had a blast!!

There are multiple major criticisms for the way XIV handles gear that are extremely valid and true. Calling it stale design because you picked not even 5% of the leg gear, zoomed em out in a washed out bad collage, and left out multiple details that would make them different is NOT it.

You know what? I’m not done. ALSO NO 2nd dye channels are being used. But oh wait — that would have shown more differences or would have HAD to show different angles and details of the pants you so wisely concealed and omitted. Wouldn’t support for your bad faith bitchfest very well though. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also the last pair of slacks are a completely different length and stick out like a sore thumb, HELLO?! 😭

You want less slacks? Fine. But acting like it some big issue when even just this patch they released multiple glams that AREN’T anything like these? Like let’s be serious for a moment.

Don’t wear the other fucking slacks then you have HUNDREDS of other options for pants. Like yes there’s a lot of pairs of slacks — but they have individual differences. And they’re SLACKS. This is a little bad faith criticism and doesn’t hold much water when you pick it apart.

There is some truth and nuance here— but this is also oversimplifying and disingenuous. A lot of these pants have very different patterns and textures washed out by the dye and lighting. Multiple pieces that differentiate the pants are not shown.

This is an MMO, not a platformer or racing game. We should not be obsessing over having skips lol.

Yeah as much as I enjoyed everyone just being like “Haul ass!!!” I always feel bad for new players who don’t know what to do and just get destroyed by the enemies. Or when someone lags and they get screwed over. And then we have to start the next boss without them to teleport them to the room.
