The solution must allow the ability to enroll and search face, fingerprint, palmprint, iris, and latent fingerprints, and associated biographic information with a given set of biometrics.
The FBI wants to build a classified/Top-Secret level biometric identity search system, per this RFI to government contractors.

The stated reason for ICE agents being in Minnesota is because of the ongoing fraud claims around daycare and other services.
The two prosecutors leading those investigations have now resigned in the wake of Renee Good’s shooting. Even the internal supposed logic of this deployment is falling apart
This morning USCIS rescinded Temporary Protected Status for Somali nationals and gave them 2 months to leave.
The State Department currently has a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" advisory for Somalia due to terrorism, kidnapping and violent crime.

New from 404 Media: police have unwittingly unmasked millions of their surveillance targets because of a Flock redaction error. Police didn't redact specific license plates in public record releases. 08.01.2026 16:12 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You can draw a draw a straight line from a right wing YouTuber's unverified viral video about Somali American daycares to ICE showing up in Minneapolis to this killing.
This feels like a galvanizing moment for the city in the same way George Floyd's death was five years ago.
Both videos of the fatal shooting in Minneapolis – which I don't want to repost – show an ICE agent shooting directly into a car at head height while leaning on the hood. There's very little to contradict these facts, even from DHS.
