Naturally, Sky Cinema Comedy has rebranded itself to Sky Cinema Groundhog Day and is playing the film on a loop all day.

I should call him

I enjoyed that. I hope it works out for them. I’d like to see them continue the previous habit of relatively unknown comedians on. Was always a great way for them to get exposure.

I’m sure he just fell over whilst doing naked housework and it slipped right in.

He lost weight overnight again so he’s at the vet today and will be until tomorrow at least. He was playful and drinking but he still wasn’t eating. They’ll be able to get something into him. Hopefully they can find out what’s caused this.

Yup. I didn’t mind most of the changes they made for the film. They had to be done. Even though it meant losing Glorfindel. I can’t imagine how long it would have been if they’d included everything.

One of my favourite lines when they’re in The Shire is when the fox stops and wonders to himself why there are three Hobbits walking together at night but he never finds out why. Just this odd whimsical moment.

There’s one advert that I’m sure gives me nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, and diarrhoea.

A tricolour English Setter puppy nibbling my finger

Positive thoughts please for one of the puppies. He’s just completely gone off of his food and hasn’t eaten anything properly in about a day now and we’re getting quite worried about him. He’s playful. Drinks water. But doesn’t want anything solid. I’m spiralling a bit. Can’t think about losing him.

If you’ve not seen the films she (and Eugene) made with Christopher Guest then you’re missing out. A Mighty Wind and Best In Show especially. RIP to one of the greats.

6 six-week old English Setter puppies looking over the edge of their whelping box

Grabbed this one of the pups earlier while I was setting up the scales for their daily weigh-in. Six boopable little snouts #EnglishSetter

We use horse shampoo on our English Setters. It’s bright purple but brings out the white in their coats magnificently. Been tempted to see just how lustrous it makes my grey.

A quick search shows it being in the 80s film Brainstorm with Christopher Walken and Louise Fletcher. That corridor is similar to the Death Star prison level too.

I think it was the inspiration for a few things. It’s long been a fave of mine. Those interiors 😍

That’s great news. It’s a brilliant series.
