Unrelated to the previous vent post, but the nurses and the radiology tech at the clinic were actual angels and I hope they got to sleep well after their long ass shift with me.

Being chronically ill is about sucking it up and doing your best for as long as possible. Then suffering the consequences (horrible health crashes and symptoms) while people around you make it very, very clear that your pain and unavailability is a huge inconvenience to their daily routine.
