many, many thanks to the authors of this letter, for speaking up & organizing a place for the artists to finally talk to each other. there were a hundred other problems I experienced with hiveworks, and finally seeing that all this was just the hw modus operandi helped me navigate getting out of it

although many artists were treated worse, this is why the Kochab kickstarter took 6+ months longer to ship. Everything was ready to go, but they had taken my ks-raised shipping funds and spent it on unrelated things! 🙃
I also had to beg/nag for over a year to get my own share of the ks profit, lol

The perspective of the window to the right of the door doesn’t make sense & the roof of the distant building on the left is also a little warped. The yellow tone is what’s first suspicious to me, there’s no artist credited, and if you reverse image search the only matches are for similar ai results

using ai for the art is disappointing! :(

This project was so fun to be a small part of! I really love finding little lived-in details that show how a place has been cared for, and the team let me go nuts with that.
