I think they tried to do too much but didn’t do anything brilliantly. In essence they just created a safe and boring scream movie which is a cardinal sin for this franchise.

It was a bit different from the last 6, which I appreciate. Wasn’t just boilerplate. Felt they tried to touch on a few themes but didn’t land any of them brilliantly. Could’ve gone harder on Sidney’s trauma.

Scream 7 was fine. Definitely the weakest of Sidney’s journey. Some really nice throwbacks but think they fumbled the reveal and motive again.

FWIW they deserved to lose to the greens. But the greens I think will find it difficult at a General Election scale to have that momentum with a full set of manifesto commitments to scrutinise and full tactical voting chaos.
