Doodling has honestly been therapeutic for me lately

I will say that the Minecraft movie definitely looks 1000x worse than the Mario movie but my opinion still stands on both of them being prime common denominator shove-a-bunch-of-celebrities-in-there bullshit

The same applies to the Minecraft movie (on top of the boycott) and, hell, even the first Sonic movie before the franchise inevitably improved felt very Product. The only reason I even watched the first Sonic film is because they went through the effort to change Sonic's look.

At the end of the day I didn't watch the 2023 Mario movie because, despite having funny jack black song or whatever, it just feels like a Product to me, I can't help but think about Smurfs 2011 when I look at it

Like a Galaxy movie is definitely more appealing to me than a more standard Mario movie, but the people making these films are not interested in telling a good story. What I want out of a Mario movie is something with the same charm as the (good) RPGs, but that's nowhere in the cards.

I'm happy to see new Super Mario Galaxy fan art but you'd have to give me an ultimatum between watching the movie and getting my eyes maced to get me even slightly interested in watching a nothingburger Chris Pratt Mario movie sequel
