My friend, the DOGE lads didn’t undergo background checks or security clearances. They were allegedly being badged in by whoever. You really think anyone was pausing at 1800 F St NW to sign in before destroying careers, looting government data, or sleeping on expensive mattresses on the 6th floor?

DOGE isn’t dead, sir. Furthermore there hasn’t been a single Congressional oversight committee hearing or interrogation of DOGE members. Our elected officials have failed to protect government workers. This is betrayal of the Oath of Office and an ongoing insult to the public, whom we all work for 🤦🏿‍♂️

Bjork was in the Sugarcubes, who did a legendary North American tour w/New Order and PIL. “Debut” had an insane amount of buzz; she was an established artist in a cool band from a country most people know nothing about. Additionally her production = contemporary and unique. Who in 2K25 is that cool?

Since 2012, just three major labels control 85% of the sale and distribution of music in the US: Sony, Universal, and Warner. Marinate on that.

I heard “6,7” in a FOIA-able federal government meeting. That phrase is officially cooked.

Being in a hardcore band is 100x cooler than being a tech bro. Teenage bros: just grab a guitar or some drums, turn it up to 10, scream about your problems. Repeat as needed.

PS “Crisis of Masculinity” sounds like the name of the debut album by the a band heavily influenced by Judge.

Plain language suggestion #1: ditch the cumbersome “Emoluments” and replace it with “Corruption.”

Might have to screen up some “I survived a 43-day government shutdown and all I got was this lousy t-shirt” shirts for my fellow Federal employees

Hi from 50 UN Plaza, a federal building where many of my 18F colleagues used to report. Day 40 of the shutdown. 2 missed paychecks, part of a third. Federal employees (including my colleagues @ Dept of Ed) continue working without knowing when they’ll be paid, or are furloughed. #Shutdown2025

First time asked, long-time follower. Why is it that federal employees don’t receive interest in addition to back pay? 37 days this shut down’s been going on with no end in sight. I’ll hang up and listen…

Anyone who thinks generative AI will one day overtake humans has never read a poem, novel, or an essay about sports (in this case, baseball) penned by an Irish author.
