I'm deadass serious when I say this;
I do and will always stand alongside and among the "gross perverts" who draw even the kind of kink media I personally find completely vile, because I know my feelings or traumas are not what decides the morality or humanity of an individual outside of their work
there's also a strong anecdotal link between autistic people and BDSM activities - because you *can* explicitly say what's going to happen and get consent and everything, without all the awkwardness of "uh, is this flirting? Can I touch them now? What's going on?"
wonder how often the "reader" would dick around, make stuff up, or divert from the written text? "The guy does some stuff, blah blah blah, no-one cares, then we get back to the character that *I* care about, which I read out in full detail"
pretty much - main difference is that there are other left-wing/liberal parties here to jump to, and their "vote for us OR ELSE!" attempt in a local by-election got Labour slammed into 3rd place (25.4% of the vote, down from 51%)
I remember listening to that in my 20's and 30's, and it was still kinda useful, just for "oh, yeah, didn't know about that thing!" or "didn't realise that was a thing"
If you remove even just the unusual, fetish, kink and related NSFW from subscribestar... there's not going to be much left! The whole USP of it was "stuff not allowed on Patreon", without that there's not much point for the site
A friend just saw this in the wild and you know what? I stand by it
they seem to have made up a largely fictional "Labour voter" and are spending a lot of time appealing to them, while pissing off a lot of their *actual* voting base. It's dumb as hell just from a "numbers" PoV, because they're losing a lot more than they're gaining!
it's basically the main thing it does - if you're not doing that stuff, why be on there rather than Patreon, that has a much larger user base?
that's the general model, yes - most books make a loss, some break even, a small number are super-duper-mega popular and pay for the rest, but no-one can really tell ahead of time which ones those are going to be!
that's, like, THE main thing subscribestar has - if it's not adult stuff, then why not just be on Patreon, that has a bigger userbase instead?
The Labour party have, AFAICT, constructed a largely fictional "Labour voter" in their head, spent a lot of time and effort trying to appeal to them, and, in so doing, pissed off a lot of their *actual* voters. They're chasing a demographic that would never vote for them!
republican voters probably like at least some part of what the republicans are doing - democrat voters *hate* the passivity of a lot of top-level democrats, there's a big difference between "dem voters" and "dem reps" in terms of deeds and words
And the Iranian army is generally competent and loyal to the state of Iran, not the specific leader - so won't immediately leave their posts or surrender (or be attacked by other people) just because the leadership is changing.
Today were playing a Round of "Truth or Shock β‘" were I ask Pup questions, if she answers correctly (or at least what my Opinion is, on whats correct π) she is fine
But if she lies, she gets shocked, with the electrodes that are attached under her Chastity Belt πβ‘
So lets find out how she does π€
"Pivot to..." <weary sigh> "...whatever dumb bollocks Silicon Valley/VC cash is going to this year/month/week/hour..."
yup - there's *so* *much* *stuff* that you can easily just keep watching stuff from the last 10 years and nothing older, and there's not really the same "eh, there's nothing else on, I'll stick this old movie on" or similar
Labour has an awkward division between a lot of it's electorate, and the divisions within itself currently in power. Some are floppy backbenchers that can be leftier if pressured enough, but some are quite a lot out of synch with their party leadership
Well, I guess this fluffy sock is officially my biggest gag stuffing to date π
also camera angles - looking directly down is probably less, uh, size-flattering then from other angles, even before any editing or other trickery (just like with regular photos, tbh - making people look taller/shorter/wider/thinner/whatever)
In the UK, I think they're mostly "adult clubs with a projector" - there's not much call for actual cinemas, because you can watch it at home instead! Unless you want to, uh, interact with other people, public viewing doesn't really add much, I'd think
You guys gotta defend porn, even if you find it icky or whatever.
Otherwise they can and will just ban more and more of it.
Don't give into that puritan nonsense, stand together.

"This is our don't-murder-each-other shirt"
those boots are magnificent!
rigged fight, the ref was clearly biased!
you don't even need to go back that far before it's stuff like "unless you live near a Chinatown, you might not be able to get soy sauce, so use this substitute", when that's not an obscure ingredient these days!
when you can always blame any failure of communication on the other person, then any incentive to be good at communication just vanishes, yeah. Any marker for "too much power just melts brains"
