Kyoko and Maki are sit on their chairs, trying to scan the crowd to see if they can spot their respective targets given to them by the useful yet incomplete information they recieved. Kyoko is looking for an assassin while Maki is looking for a detective to assassinate, unaware that they're sitting right next to each other. Hypnos welcomes them to her show, asking them to introduce themselves to the audience. As the volunteers do, Hypnos compliments their names and hopes they're both ready for some fun~

Kyoko has already been dropped. Her body limp on the chair and her mind blank and empty, sinking deeper and deeper and Hypnos works her magic on a close to dropping Maki, the hypnotists finger drawing closer and closer to Maki's forehead as the latter struggles to even think.

With a fingersnap and an order to "Cluck for them", both girls seemingly enter a state where they believe to be just a couple of mindless cute chickens, flapping their arms and clucking without a care in the world. Kyoko is standing up, eyes rolling back while Maki kneels on her chair, staring ahead at nothing.

A hypnotized Kyoko, shirt unbuttoned, given the suggestion to become a doll, is posed around by Maki and Miss Hypnos, the only thing in her mind being the words "I'm a doll" repeated over and over. Maki notes how this reminds her back to when the younger kids at her orphanage would ask her to play dolls with them, prompting a teasing comment from Hypnos about enjoying playing with the Doll Kyoko. Maki blushes, saying "M-Maybe", in response.

Receiving a tip and a request respectively, Detective Kyoko Kirigiri and Assassin Maki Harukawa attend a stage hypnosis show by Miss Hypnos, getting up on stage, unaware of being each other's target.
