Detained Tufts Student Suffering Serious Health Issues in DHS Custody Rümeysa Öztürk, a doctoral student on a Fulbright scholarship, has had three asthma attacks while being held in a Louisiana detention center.

The doctoral student Rümeysa Öztürk, on a Fulbright scholarship at Tufts University, was brazenly abducted on the sidewalk by masked immigration agents and is now suffering serious health issues in Homeland Security custody.

The State Department has also been forced to freeze the Fulbright Program and and Critical Languages Scholarships, among other exchange programs, because nothing says "America First" like "we don't care about understanding other places anymore"
