Very clever work.

Last night’s Ooni pizza experiments:
1. Leftover dim sum: Chinese broccoli, corn slivers, onions, mushrooms.
2. Smoked salmon, corn, burrata, and heirloom tomatoes.

An evening at the Denver Botanic Gardens and ice cream afterwards = heaven
I don’t even want to type it but “fat finger” is by far my #1
Every time I add polite niceties to my AI requests, I remind myself of Boomers signing their texts
Best,

All video call "AI notetakers" should populate their empty image thumbnail with a photo of an adoptable shelter dog and a link. Give us something good out of this dystopia.
Passed this billboard on East Colfax in Denver today. “Greetings from Rocky Mountain National Park. | Now with reduced staff, made possible by D.O.G.E.”
The 404 page of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website brought me joy this morning.
Some people post their photos all over the internet, and I'm over here sweating over the fact that 4 people I work with might watch my Loom video and have to see my face and hear my voice talking.
There would be wreckage from rage clicks on the form submission button that doesn’t work because of a hidden error
Chappell Roan has the best crossover hit between the genres “toddler” and “bachelorette party” with Pink Pony Club, so now I’d love her to make another based on this “KISS ‘N’ GO” sign at our elementary school.
Congrats on the launch! 😍
I’m in a real ratatouille situation here. We have a mouse that lives under our dishwasher. Cleans the kitchen at night. Her name is Ames.
Webflow partnered with @dribbble.bsky.social on their new marketplace so that designers who create with Webflow can use Dribbble to showcase their work! webflow.com/blog/webflow...
This week's episode of Severance features a famous wall unit system from the 60s by industrial designer Dieter Rams for Braun. It utilized his Vitsoe 606 shelving unit (you have probably seen these in libraries).
On a visual design project today, we were discussing the balance between a UI that was too overwhelming vs one that was too subtle, so I got to finally whip out this bad boy in a professional setting
“Heuristic evaluation” is such a pretentious phrase for “vibe check”
I thought by now I would have stopped the feminine urge to preface my statements of certainty with softeners like “I think” and “I’m not sure but” and “it seems like” but nope still out here deleting half my sentences before hitting send every time
Last day to get the reprint of Inclusive Design Communities for 20% off in the US for BlueSky folks direct from the printer. This book is for anyone creative, designing, or developing who wants to actively make the communities they're in more inclusive.

My heart sings on the first day of (faux) Spring when all the e-bikes come out on the path in front of my house 😍
I have tripled the size of my team in my first 10 months at Webflow. Today is the first time I don't have an open role, and this will likely not last long.
We are live! Made With Gsap is all yours and we cannot wait to see what you'll create with it!

I’m learning that one weird thing about me is that I do not feel tired at the end of weeklong in-person work events, like offsites. Apparently this is unusual.
A long weekend with my two toddlers is way more exhausting. Compared to that, work offsites are like a spa week to me.
It’s a silly level of far
They also almost never check for tickets and you don’t need to buy one on the app until they do. 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t understand why the train to/from Denver airport is always empty. It’s cleaner, cheaper, and faster than the car share app situation.
No matter how in shape I get, I don’t think I’ll ever understand talking to other people while running. I barely nod a meek hello to passersby. My lungs are busy not dying and they will not be multitasking, thank you.
I wrote a short reflection on my evolution in thinking around board and exec requests related to AI.
