In the end, I don’t know how sustainable being “the Cadillac of TV animation” was when the Kia (Saban) or the Honda Civic (Nick) of animation were meeting with almost as much success and almost certainly more profits

Certainly when I covered the Pirates of Dark Water games - the Sega one was clearly made by people who watched the show, SNES was a Final Fight clone where you fought "Big Pirate" and "Lady Pirate"
